Physician - Interventional Cardiology (UHC)

Position Summary West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek interventional cardiologists to practice general and interventional cardiology based at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. Responsibilities In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows. Opportunities also exist in clinical research. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia, with anticipated travel. Qualifications Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state medical license. Must have completed an internal medicine residency program, a general cardiology fellowship, and an interventional fellowship program. Must be board certified or eligible in interventional cardiology. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
