Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized peri-anesthesia care to patients across all age groups in a 28-bed unit. Candidates are required to bring their active license on the first day of assignment. The role demands strong ICU experience and participation in rotating shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 07:00 - 19:00 and 19:30 - 07:30, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Maryland or Compact RN license, ACLS, BLS certifications. Previous charge experience of at least two years, ICU experience required, travel experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) protocols, Trauma Level I and II experience, and charting system experience with Epic.
• Additional Job Information:
  • The unit is a 28-bed peri-anesthesia care setting serving a broad spectrum of patient ages including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Nurses must be competent in titration of vasopressors, airway management, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration, and fluid resuscitation.
  • Floating within scope to other units and sister facilities is required.
  • On-call shifts are part of the schedule, with two to four shifts every six weeks.
  • Candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions and accept auto-offer units without interview.
  • Compliance documentation must be completed within 5 days prior to start.
