Title: Assistant Show Choir Director - High School

Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Show Choir Director. This position will begin on August 3, 2026, and conclude on June 1, 2027.

The Assistant Show Choir Director will collaborate with the Choralation Director and the Octave and Above Director to support the planning, coordination, and execution of show choir rehearsals, performances, events, and trips. Responsibilities include assisting with directing duties, supervising students during practices and activities, and supporting the overall operation of the show choir program.

The successful candidate will help foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes student leadership, teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence while encouraging student participation and engagement in the performing arts.

Qualifications:
Candidates should be organized, flexible, and effective communicators who work well collaboratively. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student growth and leadership development, possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and be able to effectively supervise and support students in a variety of settings. This position requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, staff, families, and community members. Previous experience with show choir, vocal music, choreography, or a related performing arts program is preferred. Experience in show choir is strongly desired.
