Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for an Emergency Medicine locum tenens opportunity in Poplar Bluff, Missouri .

This is an opportunity to join a busy, well-supported community Emergency Department serving approximately 40,000+ patients annually . The defining scheduling requirement is important: providers must be comfortable rotating across the department's day, swing, and overnight shifts .

Schedule

Providers must be willing and available to work all three shift types :

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Ability to rotate across days, swings, and nights is required for this opportunity.

Practice Environment

This is an active regional Emergency Department treating a broad spectrum of acute and emergent presentations.

• Approximately 40,000+ annual ED visits

The department is supported by hospital resources that publicly include anesthesia, catheterization, general surgery, orthopedics, radiology and other acute-care services.

Clinical Scope

• Evaluate and manage Emergency Department patients across the lifespan
• Perform focused histories and physical examinations
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Manage acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform Emergency Medicine procedures within scope and competency
• Collaborate with Emergency Medicine physicians and clinical teams
• Coordinate admissions, consultations, discharges and transfers as appropriate
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Candidate Profile

Rhino Medical is seeking NPs and PAs with the clinical judgment, adaptability, and procedural comfort required in an active Emergency Department environment.
