Sr. DevOps Engineer

Job Title

Compensation: $135,000 – $140,000 base per annum

Must Haves

• Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles.
• Hardware & Data Centers: Hands-on experience managing physical server infrastructure, including bare-metal provisioning, data center operations, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Linux Administration: Strong Linux systems administration skills (networking, storage, kernel configuration, and performance tuning).
• Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of networking across TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform and Pulumi for infrastructure as code across both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Kubernetes: Experience running Kubernetes on bare metal as well as in managed cloud environments (like AWS EKS).
• AWS Cloud Expertise: Hands-on AWS experience covering EC2, EKS, VPC networking, IAM, RDS, and related services.
• Hybrid Cloud Connectivity: Familiarity with hybrid connectivity patterns (AWS Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, and private link architectures).
• Observability & Logging: Experience with unified observability tooling such as Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, or similar stacks.
• Automation Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python or Go.

Plusses

• Workload Strategy: Experience helping define workload placement strategies across hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environments.
• Technical Writing: Strong documentation and operational runbook discipline.
• Security & Compliance: Experience supporting corporate audit, regulatory compliance, and enterprise security initiatives.
