Step into a senior fabricator role where you tackle precision projects others won’t touch—like .065" 304 Stainless Steel tube welding and custom assemblies that demand flawless layout and expert interpretation of complex prints. This isn’t a general welding job; it’s a leadership-level fabrication position where autonomy, problem-solving, and craftsmanship define your day.

You’ll start by reviewing drawings and weld symbols, validating tolerances, and planning sequences to control shrink and distortion. You’ll set up TIG and MIG processes across tubing, structural, and plate work, then lead the fit-up and tack plan to achieve critical alignment. When a design is missing details, you reverse-engineer the intent and keep the build moving. You fabricate jigs and fixtures when needed, perform high-skill repairs or modifications, then grind, finish, and inspect every weldment before handing it off. Along the way, you’ll support engineering on prototypes and keep fabrication equipment dialed in with preventative maintenance.

• Execute advanced layout, fit-up, and fabrication on complex assemblies.
• Set up and operate TIG and MIG across a wide range of materials.
• Deliver precision work on tubing, structural steel, and plate.
• Read complex drawings, prints, and symbols; resolve gaps via reverse engineering.
• Lead tack and weld sequences to manage shrinkage, distortion, and tolerance.
• Design and build fixtures, jigs, and custom tooling.
• Perform expert-level weld repairs and modifications.
• Handle prep, grinding, finishing, and final inspection.
• Partner with engineering on prototypes and continuous improvement.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on welding/fab equipment.

• 8+ years in welding/fabrication (or equivalent expert capability).
• Mastery of TIG and MIG on steel and other metals.
• Exceptional blueprint/layout skills, including tolerancing and symbol fluency.
• Proven from-scratch fabrication: layout, forming, assembly.
• High mechanical aptitude and resourceful problem-solving.
• Thrives independently with minimal supervision at a senior level.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.

• $1,000 signing bonus paid as $250 at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months.
• Day shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon–Thu), 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Fri).
