Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

This position is located within a Cardiac Catheterization Lab that also specializes in Interventional Radiology with a focus on Neuro cases. The facility operates as a Level 3 Trauma center with Level 1 Cardiac and Level 2 Stroke capabilities.

Position Information

• Role: Registered Nurse
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 4 10-hour shifts
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
• Weekend Hours: On-Call only
• Call Requirements: 10 call shifts per month
• Required Certifications: RN License
• Experience Required: 3 5 years
• Float Requirements: None

• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: Philips Xper
• EHR: Meditech

Patient Population

The unit primarily serves adult patients with a focus on high acuity cases within the cardiac and interventional radiology specialties.

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Background in IR Cath Lab with Neuro and Stroke experience
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Cardiac diagnostics, STEMI, device implants, interventional radiology procedures including angiograms and stroke treatments
• Personality Fit: The ideal candidate should be able to adapt quickly in a rural lab setting with high acuity patients. Previous travel experience is strongly preferred.
• Required Education: RN license
