A physician-led healthcare organization is expanding its established Women's Health Hospitalist program across premier hospital locations in the Tampa Bay area. Position Overview Join a dedicated team of OB/GYN hospitalists providing 24-hour coverage for labor and delivery, obstetric triage, antepartum and postpartum care, and gynecologic emergencies. Physicians are employed directly through the hospitalist program and enjoy a balanced schedule with no call responsibilities.Schedule and Workload:Average of 7 (24-hour) shifts per month for full-time employmentNo on-call duties - focus fully on patient care during your shiftStrong work-life balance and collaborative environmentPhysician colleagues available for back-up coverage when needed Hospital Features Level III NICUMaternal-Fetal Medicine available on-call15 Labor & Delivery rooms29 Mom & Baby rooms Qualifications MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency3+ years of post-training practice experience preferredBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG or AOBOG)Board certification required within 5 years of eligibilityActive, unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)Unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain)Current BLS certification This is an excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN seeking a rewarding hospital-based position with stable employment, supportive colleagues, and the flexibility to enjoy life outside of work.
