TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required License: Valid compact or state nursing license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, NIHSS preferred, OCN preferred Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Oncology experience preferred but not required - IV starts, telemetry, and tracheostomy management - Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity - Previous travel experience preferred Description: Mixed acuity setting involving both PCU and MedSurg patients. Shift assignments may include days, nights, or a combination based on department needs. Assignments are reviewed every four-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed. Charge experience is preferred. Candidates must manage patient care for adults and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 32. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Patient diagnoses include head and neck cancers and neuro-oncology cases. Special procedures in this unit include tracheostomy care including suctioning and infection prevention protocols. Candidates should have skills in administration of chemotherapy, BiPAP/CPAP management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Compliance with credentialing processes is essential. Two professional references are required, including one from a supervisory capacity. Candidates must have their education from an accredited program.
