Customer Service Representative

Adistribution company is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will process and input customer orders, create and monitor warehouse work requests, inbound/outbound material activity, and print order labels based on customer requirements. Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Job Duties Greet customers and carriers at the office window, answer office phone calls, process emails and orders, and run Inventory Reports Prepare work orders, bills of lading, shipping orders, inbound/outbound manifests, and other necessary documents Examine manifests, invoices, or orders to verify the accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments Maintain correspondences with customers, including receipts, and invoices Provide assistance in answering the telephone, resolving warehouse inventory discrepancies, and providing backup to the warehouse Trace and record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes Work with other representatives to rectify damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications Resolve overages, shortages, and damages, document all correspondences, and schedule appointments Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time, and be ready to work assigned shift Adhere to the site’s quality and safety standards Perform other office duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr AREA TEMPS, INC.
