Director Of Human Resources

Executive Director of Human Resources & Labor RelationsReporting to the Assistant Comptroller for Employment Services, the Executive Director of Human Resources & Labor Relations will provide operational leadership for all human resources and labor relations activities at the Comptroller's Office. This position develops and implements workforce strategies, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational development efforts that support the Comptroller's Office mission goals and operational objectives and works to build and maintain a high performing team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Oversees HR operations and records managementDirects recruitment, onboarding and workforce development programsOversees performance management and employee evaluations programsLeverages technology to accomplish unit goalsDevelops and manages unit budgetsEnsures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, collective bargaining agreements and DCAS rules & procedures.Develops, updates and administers Standard Operating Procedures for operational units.Perform other duties as may be required.NOTE: This position is open only to current City of New York employees serving in a permanent Civil Service title of Administrative Staff Analyst or Administrative Manager.
