Operational Lead, Donor Collections

Under the supervision of the Site Manager / Manager of Mobile Operations / Field Supervisor / Assistant Manager, the Site Supervisor assumes responsibility for supervising the staff in collections at fixed and/or mobile sites. They monitor collection activities to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, serve as a resource for donor eligibility and phlebotomy complications, and ensure meeting projected production goals. The role delegates duties to staff, coordinates with the mobile chairperson, promotes a positive image of CBC within the community, and performs Site Manager duties in their absence. $2,500.00 Sign On Bonus Available Ideal Candidate Will Have Supervisory Experience In Service Industry. Essential Functions Supervises blood collections at fixed/mobile sites. Trained on all tasks required of Donor Care Technicians I, II, III, IV & V (as applicable). Functions as a resource for staff regarding donor criteria and vein suitability. Functions as a resource for donor questions and concerns. Functions as a resource for difficult venipunctures. Reviews QC documentation. Ensures staff compliance with SOPs. Determines job assignments, breaks, and mealtimes for staff. Coordinates with mobile chairperson and volunteers. Handles or seeks help for emergencies that occur. Ensures compliance with CBC safety policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of personal information regarding donors and staff. Responds to staffing problems, donor/staff complaints, and counsels donors and staff as needed. Provides written evaluation of staff regarding performance and compliance with SOPs. Provides documentation when needed regarding staff behavior and/or attendance problems. Promotes customer service and a positive image of CBC to the community. Maintains prompt and regular attendance. Responsible for responding to temperature/humidity alarms (as applicable). Responsible for maintaining and reconciling monthly equipment inventory (as applicable).
