Adjunct, Marketing Position Title: Adjunct, Marketing – Management and Marketing Department – School of Management. Position Overview Teach marketing courses (Principles of Marketing, Advertising, Personal Selling & Sales Management, Global Marketing, Marketing Communications & Promotion, Digital Marketing) depending on candidate experience; courses meet once or twice a week in person. Responsibilities Course preparation Grading Assist students Communicate with students Teach courses that meet once or twice a week in person Occasional Duties Email communications with department chair and other faculty Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Familiarity with a learning management system Knowledge of marketing principles and methods Ability to engage students in active learning Required Qualifications Minimum of a master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field Post‑secondary teaching experience with related industry experience Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 2‑year college teaching experience with industry experience in marketing Employment Conditions Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship Appointment contingent on successful background screening after selection Union eligibility: Adjuncts become eligible to join RIC/AFT Adjunct Union after completing 6 load hours (excluding applied music) within two consecutive years Payment once a month; taxes withheld No fringe benefits Provide official transcript of highest degree upon hire Benefits No benefits are provided. #J-18808-Ljbffr Rhode Island College
