Job Description:

Skills Desired:

• Experience in mechanical design and NPD.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, sheet metal, plastics).
• Familiarity with engineering standards, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain) to develop new products from concept to launch.
• Create and review CAD models, drawings, and assemblies using industry-standard tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).
• Conduct feasibility studies, tolerance analysis, and material selection for new designs.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
• Document design processes, test results, and engineering changes in line with company standards.
• Provide input on DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFM/DFA to improve product reliability and manufacturability.
• Assist in vendor interactions for component development and ensure alignment with specifications.
• Continuously research emerging technologies and contribute ideas for product innovation.
