Executive Director, Outcomes Research, Pediatric Vaccines

Executive Director, Value & Implementation (V&I) Outcomes Research Position resides in the V&I organization, which includes Global Medical and Scientific Affairs as well as Outcomes Research. Under the guidance of a senior leader, this role leads a team of outcomes research professionals to develop value evidence strategies and generate real‑world and economic evidence for a portfolio of products. The role supports value evidence needs of clinicians, payers, policymakers, HTA/reimbursement agencies, and health systems globally. Primary Responsibilities Leads, manages and provides scientific and strategic direction to teams executing high‑quality evidence strategies. Ensures annual Value & Implementation plans for the therapeutic area deliver research data and evidence for use in markets with impending launches. Helps achieve and sustain reimbursement and market access for the therapeutic area. Accountable for the development and delivery of innovative, timely, robust health outcomes and economic evidence supporting market access, pricing, reimbursement, HTA, formulary listing, and promotion of the company’s products. Develops strong matrix relationships with clinical development, medical affairs, market access, commercial, and key markets to ensure strategies reflect payer/HTA requirements. Represents the team’s perspectives to shape the outcomes research organization’s strategy through the extended leadership team and strategic initiatives. Builds effective partnerships with internal stakeholders and external thought leaders in real‑world evidence, health economics, health‑care policy, and HTA to inform value evidence strategies. Maintains awareness of new scientific and methodological developments and applies appropriate methods to HEOR studies. Ensures study conduct aligns with company policies, SOPs, worldwide regulations, including Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practice (GPP) where applicable. Accountable for innovative and effective dissemination of value evidence deliverables through presentations, publications, press releases, promotional materials, and social media. Education Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DrPH, ScD, PharmD) in health services research, outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, health economics, pharmacoeconomics, or pharmacy administration. Required Experience and Skills Ten or more years of experience post‑degree. Track record of successful team leadership and global experience. Demonstrated knowledge and evidence generation supporting optimal recommendations, reimbursement, and payer/provider access and treatment decisions. Cross‑functional leadership, early drug development, evidence generation, executive leadership, global experience, health services research, life cycle management, outcomes research, patient access, payer evidence, payer reimbursement, pediatric medicine, real‑world evidence, vaccine development, and vaccine management. Preferred Experience and Skills Experience with products from early development to lifecycle management. Strong experience and published research in the therapeutic area. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $255,800.00 – $402,700.00. Eligible for annual bonus, long‑term incentive, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, and compassionate and sick days.
