- Lead compliance, regulatory readiness, and clinical education functions across the agency
- Lead and supervise the team with excellence, integrity and enthusiasm
- Support survey readiness initiatives and serve as backup Survey Liaison during active surveys
- Collaborate with other members of leadership to maintain compliant, effective policies and procedures
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Manage departmental priorities, communication, and operational performance
- Oversee health information and medical records processes to ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence
- Ensure accurate and timely release of information and documentation management
- Partner with billing teams to support compliant hospice claim submissions
- Monitor evolving regulations and implement operational changes proactively
- Support internal and external audit preparation and response efforts
- Lead the team in development and implementation of a comprehensive clinical education program
- Use data-driven insights to identify educational needs and improve staff performance
- Review and update policies annually to align with best practices and regulatory standards
- Work closely with leadership and Quality teams to ensure consistent regulatory messaging and education
- Implement training related to policy changes, plans of correction, and new initiatives
- Promote Trellis Supportive Care's mission, values, and commitment to compassionate service
- Bachelor's degree in Health Management, Healthcare Administration, or related healthcare field - or equivalent experience and training
- Prior healthcare management experience required
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of hospice philosophy and care for terminally ill patients
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with adult learning principles and clinical education delivery
- Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to present training effectively to both groups and individuals
- You thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments
- You are detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused
- You lead with a balance compassion with accountability
- You adapt quickly to changing regulations and operational priorities
