Inspector - Level 3

Job Description As an Inspector - Level 3 at Honeywell, you will ensure the quality and compliance of aerospace components and assemblies. You will perform detailed inspections, identify defects, and verify that products meet stringent industry and company standards to support our commitment to safety and excellence. Reports to Supervisor. Location: Torrance, CA. On‑site work schedule. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies using precision measurement tools and visual examination techniques. Document inspection results accurately and report any non‑conformances or defects to the quality team for corrective action. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes. Qualifications The annual base salary range for this position is $55,300 - $82,900. Salary is based on factors such as scope of responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market considerations. Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or holder of protected status). Must Have Experience in inspection within aerospace manufacturing or a similar high‑precision industry. Strong knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques relevant to aerospace components. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately. We Value Previous experience in aerospace quality inspection or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations. Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow established procedures. Strong problem‑solving skills to identify and address quality issues effectively.
