We are seeking a skilled and motivated Truck and Trailer Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty trucks, trailers to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance. Your expertise will help keep our fleet operating smoothly and efficiently, supporting our commitment to reliable transportation services. Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on trucks and trailers using schematics and technical manuals.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and hydraulic system servicing.
Repair and replace transmissions, air brake systems, shocks & struts, HVAC components, and electrical wiring, etc.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and fabrication techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
Operate heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, Semi trucks, and other industrial equipment safely during maintenance procedures.
Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues.
Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders/ sales orders accurately, and ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician with a focus on trucks and trailers; dealership experience is highly valued.
Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brake systems, suspension components, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting heavy equipment operation issues.
Ability to perform fabrication tasks including welding and assembly using various power tools.
Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring and hydraulic systems; ability to interpret technical manuals effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail; capable of performing heavy lifting safely.
Valid certifications in vehicle maintenance or related fields are preferred; ongoing training in heavy equipment repair is a plus.
