Desktop Support Technician

*Description* We are seeking Desktop Support Technicians to support a critical merger & acquisition integration. This role will focus on onsite end-user support, device deployment, and user migrations to ensure a seamless Day 1 and post-close transition.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Deploy, configure, and image desktops/laptops to corporate standards
* Perform user migrations, including data transfer, profile setup, and domain alignment
* Provide onsite desk-side ("floor walk") support during migration and cutover periods
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues (Windows, Office 365, VPN, peripherals)
* Install and validate business-critical applications post-migration
* Perform data backup and restoration to prevent data loss
* Track and manage hardware inventory, including asset tagging and device swaps
* Support user onboarding to new systems (logins, MFA, email access)
*Required Skills & Experience*
* 2+ years of desktop support or deskside support experience
* Strong experience with Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory
* Experience with PC imaging, deployment, and migration projects
* Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience
*Preferred*
* Experience supporting M&A, site migrations, or large-scale IT deployments
* Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, or endpoint management tools
* Experience in regulated environments (pharma, healthcare, etc.)

This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
