JOB SUMMARY

This individual will be the primary point of contact for all customers, sales personnel, and other company personnel at the CAT Rental Store. The Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating rental sales and support services, communication, and information flow for the equipment rental fleet, including pump rental and trench/shoring safety equipment, by determining customer rental needs and handling all corresponding rental reservations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Three years of experience in customer service, preferred experience in the heavy equipment and/or equipment rental industry. Previous experience with Pump Rental and Trench/Shoring Safety equipment required Excellent computer skills - proficiency in MS Office required. General knowledge of rental equipment and services offered preferred.

Strong customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Organized and detail-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
