Exciting opportunities are available for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) interested in making a meaningful impact in educational settings. This engaging contract role supports students in grades 9-12 and beyond (post-secondary) at 2-3 school sites near the Hayward, CA area. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and continues through June 3, 2027, offering the chance to build strong, lasting connections with staff and families.

Work 30 hours per week following a daily schedule of either 8:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:15 AM–3:45 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The position focuses on providing functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing/implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), with an average expectation of 10-15 completed per school year. Currently, no FBA/BIPs are overdue, allowing for a well-paced workload. RBT supervision is not required at this time but may become a possibility in the future.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current BCBA certification required
• Experience in a school setting, preferably with high school and post-secondary populations
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), FBA, and BIP processes
• Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Efficient organizational abilities to manage multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive FBAs for students as needed
• Design, write, and oversee the implementation of effective BIPs
• Support the educational team in understanding behavior data and intervention strategies
• Provide consultations and in-services to staff, as appropriate
• Maintain thorough documentation per regulatory and district guidelines
