Production Technician

The Production Technician is responsible for performing a variety of product manufacturing tasks, including mixing, blending, filling, labeling, and packaging. The role requires experience with labeling, weighting, and assembly, specifically putting caps on bottles. The technician will mix powder solutions into liquid solutions for packing via an assembly process. The role also involves setting up mixing and weighing machines, operating, cleaning, and maintaining equipment like mixers, and following SOPs to ensure safe and accurate production.

Responsibilities

• Perform product manufacturing tasks such as mixing, blending, filling, labeling, and packaging.
• Experience with labeling, weighting, and assembly (putting caps on bottles).
• Mix powder solutions into liquid solutions for packing via an assembly process.
• Set up mixing and weighing machines.
• Operate, clean, and maintain equipment such as mixers.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and accurate production.
• Set up and tear down production stations.
• Keep accurate documentation and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
• Support basic in-process tests.
• Lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Essential Skills

• Experience with aseptic techniques, cleanroom environments, or biologics manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Experience in GMP-regulated production environments.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic computer skills; electronic documentation experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale Heights, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
