Credit Analyst

Job Description Job Description PURPOSE
Manage credit risk for all regional customers, to assure credit limits, payment terms and customer financial information is updated.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Performing credit checks and reviewing financial information in order to properly set up customer accounts.
To actively manage current customer payment terms and trends to make account changes as necessary.
To resolve any customer payment issues.
Initiate write-off of bad debt.
Perform cash application as necessary.
Implement and manage A/R plan to improve all related metrics.
Run ATB to actively collect past due invoices.

Many phone calls would require headset use.
Sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
B.S. Degree in accounting, business or related field.
2-4 years experience credit risk; accounting (payables/receivables).
Strong communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
Reporting and data analysis.
