Radiology Technologist

Description The Radiologic Technologist performs the technical aspects of all adult, geriatric, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal diagnostic radiology procedures under the direction of the radiologist. The technologist is expected to perform procedures at a level that does not require constant supervision but does require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation safely. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Successful completion of a program in Radiology Technology as accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist certification. Upon hire: National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Upon hire: National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience in a hospital radiographic department with demonstrated competency in all radiologic procedures. Why Join Providence Swedish? Benefits The position offers a base pay range of $44.39 – $67.64 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
