Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse

Location: La Porte, IN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Intermediate Care Unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and may be required to float to Med/Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in an intermediate care setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN licensure in Indiana.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of critical care experience preferred.
• Cerner electronic medical records experience preferred but not required.
