SALES AND MARKETING INTERN

Reporting to: Senior Vice President The Position: The position will work with both senior sales and marketing staff to engage existing and potential clients to our tradeshow floor in the form of exhibit space sales, sponsorship sales and audience promotion. Responsibilities include offering insights, interpretations, and direction based on knowledge gained through market research. This position is designed for people with great interpersonal, salesmanship and customer service skills. Assignments will include working in a variety of different industry sectors. Primary Duties: Utilizing EJK’s and other internal resources, computer files, the internet and other research tools to compile information on potential leads and industry news Explore new business leads and maintain contact with already provided leads Engaging in industry/competitive analysis Development of target-company lists Executing strategic social media and marketing initiatives Assisting in client presentations Position Requirements: College student or recent graduate (course credit is possible) Direct sales or marketing experience preferred Excellent oral, written, and communication/presentation skills Basic computer knowledge and research capabilities Understanding of company organizational structure Ability to be responsible for attaining certain goals designated by management as well as setting own goals Fundamental time management and project management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr E.J.
