Assembly Associate Requirements

• General knowledge of assembly processes and tools required
  
• Proficient computer skills required
  
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
  
• Ability to follow work instructions, production procedures, and safety requirements
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment
  
• Familiarity with DFT techniques preferred
  
• NCCER certification preferred
  
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required for temporary placement
  
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
  

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect parts, subassemblies, fluids, and accessories used to manufacture lift trucks.
  
• Work with drive axles, power trains, side shifters, header hoses, overhead guards, lights, hydraulic tanks, brakes, steering columns, cowls, tires, and seats.
  
• Use general assembly tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  
• Follow established assembly processes, work instructions, and production requirements.
  
• Use the BAM documentation system to access and complete required production information.
  
• Inspect assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  
• Identify and report quality, equipment, or production concerns.
  
• Follow all personal protective equipment and equipment-safety requirements.
  
• Keep the assigned work area clean, organized, and safe.
  
• Support production goals and perform other assembly duties as assigned.
