Full-Time CDL Driver

Blake Fulenwider Automotive in Eastland, Texas is a company that prides itself on taking care of their customers as well as their employees. We are looking for a reliable individual with a clean driving record and strong customer service skills to join our team of full time drivers.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves the professional transport of vehicles to and from West Texas, as well as to customer locations across the country. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), a clean driving record, pass all drug tests, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently transport vehicles to designated locations
• Pick up and deliver vehicle parts as needed
• Accurately manage and secure delivery documentation, including obtaining necessary signatures
• Maintain consistent communication with the driver coordinator for daily assignments
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner

Requirements:

• Valid CDL and a clean driving record (no major accidents or DUI/DWI charges within the last 5 years)
• Reliable personal transportation to and from the dealership
• A working cell phone for daily communication and dispatch
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including potential overnight trips and occasional weekends
• Flexibility to work long days and respond to driving needs on an as-needed basis
• Must pass random drug tests

Additional Information: This position is Monday through Friday, however it occasionally requires a significant travel commitment and may include irregular hours. It is essential that candidates consider how this travel-intensive role fits with their personal and family responsibilities.
