A healthcare facility in Owasso, OK, is seeking two skilled inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting November 9. This role offers competitive compensation with a rate increase and an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment with a large 450-bed facility. The shift schedule consists of four 10-hour day and evening shifts from 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including supervision of pharmacy technicians and preparation of intravenous (IV) medications.
• Verify and check all medication orders and IV preparations to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records system effectively to manage prescriptions and patient information.
• Operate automated medication systems including Pyxis and Carousel.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations.
• Hold and maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must possess an active Oklahoma pharmacist license.
• Minimum of two years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience, including hands-on IV preparation.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR, Pyxis, and Carousel automation systems preferred.
• Willingness to work four 10-hour shifts consisting of days and evenings.
• Open to first-time travel pharmacists; no local candidates within 75 miles will be considered.
