Contract to hire position . Our client in Tell City IN is looking to contract mechanical maintenance technicians and then onboard them into their organization within 30 to 60 days. Candidates must have strong hands-on mechanical maintenance experience and be comfortable working independently in a demanding foundry environment. Relevant experience may include bearings, drives, alignment, welding, and other heavy-industrial maintenance.
Requirements:
- Education, equivalent experience, or actively pursuing a degree in Maintenance related field, minimum High School Diploma/GED equivalent with additional certifications a bonus (e.g. welding)
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift
- Dependable and responsible, positive work attitude
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, while working without supervision
- Must be proficient in the following:
- Welding
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Fabrication/Fasteners
- Blueprint reading
- Power transmission repair
- Machine repair
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent

Our client offers a competitive benefits package. and up to $4,000in relocation assistance for qualifying individuals relocating more than 50 miles . Out of state relocation in the State of Indiana may offer an additional $7,000 .
Tell City IN is half way between Evansville and Louisville. This is a rural environment with lots of opportunities for outdoor activities all year around and a great place to bring up kids.
