The role includes managing calibration of tools, creating AS9100 inspection forms, generating bubble drawings in DISCUS 2024, and conducting receiving inspections to ensure incoming materials meet specifications. Candidates must be a U.S. Person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324(a)(3)) for ITAR compliance. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, metrology or a related field within an aerospace or precision manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems Experience with calibration processes and maintaining calibration records Experience performing receiving inspections and working with suppliers to resolve non‑conformances Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and GD&T per ANSI Y14.5 Familiarity with First Article paperwork Strong communication and teamwork skills Self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines Willingness to work daily overtime, including occasional Saturdays Prioritizes safety at all times Job Duties Coordinate and manage the calibration process for inspection tools and measurement equipment. Maintain accurate calibration schedules and certifications. Develop and maintain AS9100‑compliant inspection forms using DISCUS 2024. Perform receiving inspections of incoming materials and components. Document and report non‑conformances, working with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for compliance. Support internal and external audits by providing metrology documentation. Continuously improve processes related to quality inspection, calibration, and documentation. Physical Demands Employee must be able to use a computer and office equipment, walk within the office and plant, see and assess surroundings, bend, turn, stoop, sit, stand, occasionally lift up to 15 lbs, and use stairs. Work Environment The position involves roughly 30% of time in an office and 70% in a manufacturing plant, requiring personal protective equipment such as slip‑resistant shoes and safety glasses.
