Job Description As a Neurohospitalist or Teleneurohospitalist at Intermountain Health, you will work with a high-performing, patient-centered team committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. You will provide 24/7 Tele-\u2011Neurohospitalist services or in-person neurohospitalist services, working 12-\u2011hour day/night shifts, swing shifts (approximately 15 shifts per month), with a mix of days, nights, weekends and holidays. You will support Intermountain hospitals and outreach sites across Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Alaska. About this role Telehealth shifts may be worked from the virtual hospital building located near Salt Lake City, UT, or from home; in-\u2011person shifts will be worked at Intermountain Medical Center (IMED), a Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma Center. Providing 24/7 Tele-\u2011Neurohospitalist services, or in-person neurohospitalist services 1.0 FTE is 2,080 hours per year, split into 12-\u2011hour day/night shifts, and swing shifts (approximately 15 shifts/month) Mix of days, nights, weekends and holidays Position provides telehealth (stroke, inpatient neurology consults) support to the Intermountain hospitals and several outreach sites in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Alaska Neurohospitalist positions are a part of our larger Neuroscience Institute group which includes Neuro Critical Care physicians, Epileptologists, Neurosurgeons, outpatient Neurologists, Neuro and Spine PM\u005CR&n@;R physicians, Neuro Psychologists and Psychiatrists The neurohospitalist team works closely with the neuro-intensivists team who cover the neurocritical care unit, as well as tele-neurocritical care consults throughout the system. What you\u2019ll bring U.S. ACGME Neurology Residency Optimally - completion of vascular neurology (stroke) or neurohospitalist fellowship Optimally - experience in Telehealth and telestroke practice (familiarity with video telemedicine interface) Board Certified/Eligible in neurology Unrestricted MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license, in the following states: UT, CO, NV, AZ, MT, ID, WY, and AK Eligible for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact BLS certification and DEA Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health\u2019s credentialing process Location Intermountain Health Intermountain Medical Center, Valley Center Tower, Murray, Utah Scheduled weekly hours: 40 Hourly range: $7.25 - $999.99 Intermountain Health is an equal opportunity employer.
