Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized intensive care nursing services to critically ill patients in the ICU. Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care while ensuring safety and compliance with hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced nursing care to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and clinical conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Ensure adherence to infection control procedures and safety policies, including COVID-19 vaccination or exemptions.
• Prepare and support patients for emergency procedures and invasive interventions.
• Float to different units or facilities within a 30-mile radius as needed, based on clinical competence.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license with at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Possess current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and telemetry, or be willing to obtain them.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ICU patient management, including IV therapy and telemetry monitoring.
• Prior travel experience preferred, with the ability to adapt quickly in diverse settings.
• Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid religious/medical exemption.
