Duties
- Machinists operate and maintains lathes and milling machines. They review drawings or samples to ensure accurate production; take precise measurements for cutting/shaping tasks using appropriate machine settings.
- Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
- Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
- Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
- Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess 2+ years in running a CNC lathe or mill.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years running a CNC lathe or mill
- Manual machining experience
