CDL Class B Route Delivery Driver

Job Description

Job Description

Fredericksburg, VA | Local Routes, Home Every Night | Full-Time

Pay: $28.50–$30.00 per hour

Capital Textile is hiring a Class B CDL driver to run local delivery routes out of Fredericksburg. You'll deliver clean linens to hotels, hospitals, and local businesses on established routes and be home every night. No overnights, no long hauls.

What You'll Do

• Drive a company truck on an established local route, delivering clean linens and picking up soiled ones
• Load and unload linen carts on wheels (200–600 lbs when full). You roll them on and off the truck, not carry them
• Get to know the main contact at each stop. You'll see the same customers every week
• Check each delivery so every customer gets the right order
• Do pre- and post-trip inspections and follow DOT rules

What You Need

• Valid Class B CDL
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable with physical work all day: pushing and pulling heavy carts and lifting
• Reliable and on time. Your customers count on their delivery
• Friendly with customers. Customer service experience helps but isn't required

Why You'll Like It Here

Capital Textile is part of a family-owned company with a history dating back to 1934. We've grown from a single Petersburg, VA location into a multi-state textile rental service, but we've kept the local, people-first culture that built us.

• Home every night: local, established routes with no overnight stays
• Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance, plus a 401(k) with company match
• Paid vacation
• On-site training from experienced managers, so you're set up to succeed from day one
• Real career advancement: we prioritize promoting from within
• A team that celebrates wins: recognition awards, anniversary recognition, seasonal team celebrations, and scholarships for immediate family members
