Physician, Pediatric Electrophysiology, Per Diem

Position Overview This is a Per Diem Pediatric Electrophysiology position open to candidates eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The selected candidate will primarily practice at the main campus in Morgantown, WV, as part of the University Health Associates and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care in pediatric cardiology with a specialization in electrophysiology. Collaborate with advanced practice professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Participate in the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications MD, DO, or foreign equivalent degree. Eligibility for a state medical license. Completion of a Pediatric residency program and Pediatric Cardiology fellowship program. Additional formal training in pediatric electrophysiology required. Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. For consideration at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, a track record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and publications in high-impact journals is required. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Location Morgantown, WV. The position may also require travel to additional locations in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania as operational needs dictate. Hours and Classification Scheduled weekly hours: 10. Exempt.
