A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular at a facility located in Asheville, North Carolina. This assignment involves providing specialized patient care within a dedicated cardiovascular ICU. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

• Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, alternating weekends
• Required Qualifications: Certifications are not required; however, CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification is recommended. Candidates must have ICU experience, familiarity with ventilator management, telemetry interpretation, hemodynamics, PA catheter setup and interpretation, and proficiency in titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics. Experience with chest tube insertions, cardioversion, TEE, tracheostomy, and other advanced cardiovascular procedures is preferred.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes Cerner electronic medical record system. Staff are expected to adhere to specific unit policies, dress code requiring navy or navy and white scrubs, and demonstrate excellent patient care in a high-acuity environment.
