Processing physician medication orders to ensure medications are promptly, accurately, and safely delivered.Ensure all work meets regulatory compliance standards as related to the Pharmacy, Pharmacy Automation, Billing, and Inventory, USP 795 / 797.Provides courteous, cooperative, and timely service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.What you'll need for this job:Education:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Upon start of program, must be enrolled and maintain enrollment in Trinity Health's ASHP Pharmacy Technician training program.Licensure:Application for temporary IL Pharmacy Tech license upon start of programFull IL Pharmacy Tech licensure upon completion of the programPharmacy Tech Trainee will be required to complete the 500 hours of program training and obtain PTCB certification within 180 days of hire.Skills:Basic aptitude for 8th grade math along with good written and verbal communication will be assessed at the initial interview.Technology:Familiarity with standard desktop and Windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation.
