Senior Systems Engineer

Salary: $90,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We need a bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• We expect at least 10 years of network engineering experience with a strong emphasis on Cisco, F5, Palo Alto Firewalls, Infoblox, Zscaler ZPA, Azure Cloud, ISE, and SDWAN.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly preferred.
• We require strong command of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, MPLS, SDWAN, and VPN.
• We need proven experience designing and delivering network solutions with Cisco routing and switching platforms such as Catalyst, ACI, and Nexus.
• We value hands-on expertise with F5 load balancers, including LTM and GTM, AWAF, and highly available load-balancing designs.
• We require experience designing, administering, and securing Palo Alto firewalls, including policy management and threat prevention.
• We expect familiarity with Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions and how they integrate with network infrastructure.
• We need knowledge of Cisco ACI deployment, fabric management, policy design, and integrations.
• We require strong scripting ability in Ansible and Python for automation and orchestration.
• We expect a solid understanding of network security concepts, including access control, authentication, VPNs, and firewall policies.
• We need strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network issues quickly.
• We require excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• We expect the ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• We design, implement, and support network infrastructure solutions using Cisco, F5, Palo Alto Firewalls, Infoblox, Zscaler ZPA, Azure Cloud, ISE, and SDWAN.
• We work with other IT teams to define requirements and shape network solutions that support business goals.
• We lead the deployment and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, F5 AWAF, and Infoblox DDI.
• We build and maintain automation scripts with Ansible and Python to improve operations, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
• We integrate automation tooling with existing systems to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• We perform network capacity planning and regular assessments to keep performance and scalability on target.
• We troubleshoot complex network incidents and restore service as quickly as possible.
• We carry out network security reviews and implement safeguards to protect the infrastructure.
• We produce and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configuration records, and standard procedures.
• We participate in change management, evaluating and implementing network changes in line with best practices.
• We coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to support effective network service delivery.
• We mentor junior network engineers and share technical guidance and best practices.
