Rate Of Pay Per Contact Hour 2025: Less than Master's = $1,069; Master's or above = $1,109 FLSA Status Exempt Grant Funded No Job Summary Adjunct teaching faculty provide instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals and evaluate students' progress to facilitate achievement of their educational goals. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Master’s degree in Geography or in a related area with 18 graduate credits in Human Geography. Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Teaching experience in a Community College environment. Essential Duties Deliver Instruction: Conduct assigned classes and/or labs; prepare lessons; provide course syllabus (including grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline, and contact information); verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets. Evaluate Student Progress: Keep accurate record of student performance; provide students with timely feedback. Provide Student Assistance: Refer students to student support services; accommodate special needs students. Other Duties Other duties as assigned that pertain to the job description.
