As a Security Officer Hospital Deescalation in Wexford, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional, you will monitor and patrol a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff through professional communication, responsive service, and routine patrols. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access procedures, and reporting of unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
