Who we are:
Cornerstone Animal Hospital is a busy small animal practice, locally owned and operated for over 20 years. We have a loyal customer base that trusts us to provide excellent care to their pets. Although we work hard, we know how to have fun while doing it!
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an outgoing and motivated customer service professional to join our team! We are looking for someone who isn't just an "animal lover," (aren't we all) but loves interacting with people too! At least one year of customer service preferred, and veterinary experience preferred but not a requirement for the right candidate. Must have high school diploma or equivalent and own transportation. The hours for this position are perfect for a college student with morning classes.
What you'll be doing:
- Greeting clients and checking patients in and out of the hospital.
- Answering a high volume of phone calls in a professional manner.
- Scheduling appointments using veterinary software.
- Communicating effectively with clients and other staff members in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Processing payments, ie. cash handling, checks, credit cards and Care Credit.
- Managing medical records, ie. preparing files, filing, scanning, faxing/emailing records.
- Filling prescriptions.
- Maintaining a clean and professional environment, ie. light cleaning duties.
