Job Summary:

Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures in both x-ray and mammography specialties, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Operate independently while adhering to department policies and safety standards to facilitate accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Execute diagnostic radiologic procedures in x-ray and mammography, following established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Maintain equipment operation, troubleshooting, and ensure image quality meets clinical standards.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to infection control, body substance isolation, and patient confidentiality protocols throughout clinical practice.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately in PACS, HIS, and RIS systems, and demonstrate competence in system troubleshooting.
  
  
• 
  Provide excellent patient care, including education, positioning, and reassurance during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Comply with continuing education requirements and maintain all required certifications.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold ARRT (R) certification and active Massachusetts radiology license or application status.
  
  
• 
  Have a minimum of 2 years of recent x-ray experience with at least 1 year in mammography.
  
  
• 
  Possess current ARRT (M) certification and active American Heart Association BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in mammography and x-ray procedures, with documentation of recent skills.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.
  
  
• 
  Own a personal vehicle for travel to assignment location.
