Credit Analyst I

Credit Analyst A Credit Analyst prepares and provides credit data to Commercial Lenders for their use in estimating the degree of risk involved in extending credit to business entities. What You Will Be Doing Spreading financial statements and tax returns, preparing financial projections and inputting financial statement tracking information for businesses utilizing PC-based software. Preparing written financial analysis. Spreading personal tax returns and personal financial statements using PC-based software. Creating cash flow and debt service spreadsheets for business entities, personal borrowers/guarantors and global relationships using in-house models. Reviewing, calculating and tracking financial covenant compliance in loan agreements, providing Commercial Lenders with customized spreadsheets outlining results. Attending credit training classes both within the bank and also provided by third parties. Assist with financial statement analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university. Strong understanding of accounting and finance, financial statements, government loan programs, and commercial loan documentation. Previous experience with a financial institution is preferred. PC proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Ability to develop a good working knowledge and understanding of the software systems used by the Credit Administration and Loan Operations departments in order to effectively communicate training issues regarding these systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr First Bank
