Job Title: Host/Hostess This position is for a pool of applicants for several locations. Reports To: General Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Description: At Kumori our Hosts greet and welcome guests’ first, they do this with a smile to leave a warm and lasting impression. Our host team members are responsible for creating a warm and friendly environment and to ensure our guests have a wonderful and memorable customer experience. Duties and Responsibilities Consistently evaluates premises for cleanliness in accordance with Kumori Standards. Always greet customers, guests, visitors with a smile. Maintains a neat, clean and organized front-of-house environment. Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Accurately uses and balance cash registers. Maintain cash control over register drawer and verify amounts are correct. Always follows and maintains safety and health procedures. Other duties assigned. Qualifications Energetic, friendly, cheerful, dependable and always maintains a positive attitude. Values teamwork and understands the importance of serving and helping others. Always has a smile and is able to create and maintain eye contact. Must be able to organize, plan ahead, and engage in positive conversations with our guests. Must be at least 16 years of age.
