As a Security Officer Part Time Armed Patrol in Monroe LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. You will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents respond to situations with professionalism and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees members visitors and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees visitors and vendors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate activity logs incident reports and other required documentation and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
