Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Tue 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Wed 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Thur 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
