Job Summary:
The registered nurse position in the intensive care unit with a focus on cardiovascular care is based in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Denver, Colorado
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two (2) years of registered nursing experience, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, NIH certification, ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Additional Information: Performs health assessments, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, medical function execution, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, documentation, resource utilization, and adheres to hospital and regulatory guidelines. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and may be placed on-call during shifts.
