Everything, handled with care./ppThe Mover is responsible for the professional handling, transportation, delivery, and installation of personal effects, fine art, antiques, and furniture for local and interstate moves. This role involves extensive coordination with warehouse and dispatch teams, adherence to safety protocols, and a high standard of customer service and care in handling high-value and fragile items. This position offers:/pulli401(k) with company match/liliHealthcare Plan/liliCompetitive PTO Package/li/ulpKey Responsibilities for a Mover are the following:/pulliPerform scheduled collections and deliveries of goods, ensuring timely and accurate execution./liliEnsure vehicle cleanliness and readiness for daily use./liliHandle all required paperwork onsite and in the field, including condition reports and trip manifests./liliAccurately pack, handle, and install artworks, antiques, and fine furnishings in a secure and professional manner./liliAssist with complex installations and site-specific projects./liliProvide leadership and training to junior art handlers as required./liliLoad and unload Wetzel and Sons and third-party trucks with care and precision./liliMaintain detailed focus and high-quality execution on each assigned job./liliOn occasion, report to or from a client site; in such cases, submit a manual timesheet signed by a supervisor or manager within 24 hours./liliNotify the Dispatch Manager of any proposed trip changes or manifest modifications before execution./li/ulpSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities we consider:/pulliStrong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic work environments./liliKnowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices./liliExceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities./liliProfessional communication, customer service, and teamwork skills./liliAbility to lift and maneuver up to 70 pounds; push/pull up to 150 pounds on equipment./liliCapable of standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching throughout the workday./liliSkilled in the use of logistics equipment including dollies, j-bars, pallet jacks, and hand trucks./liliAbility to follow detailed paperwork and complete condition reporting accurately./liliOperates under direct supervision with limited autonomy./liliChanges to assignments or schedules must be approved by the Dispatch Manager./liliDecision-making authority may expand with demonstrated performance and tenure./li/ulpstrongSign-On Bonus/strong/ppThe employee will be eligible for a sign-on bonus totaling strong$1,000/strong, payable as follows:/pullistrong$250/strong will be paid after the successful completion of the employees first strongfive (5) full working days/strong./lilistrong$750/strong will be paid upon the successful completion of strongninety (90) days of continuous employment/strong./li/ulpTo qualify for the sign-on bonus payments, the employee must:/pulliRemain actively employed through each payout date./liliMaintain satisfactory job performance./liliHave no strongNo Call/No Show/strong occurrences during the first ninety (90) days of employment./li/ulpThe company reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program at its discretion, subject to applicable laws and company policies./p/div
