About the Position

Job Title

CT / X-Ray Technician (Travel Contract)

Sanford, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Varied days including weekdays and weekends | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures independently across the Imaging Department
• Float between CT and X-ray departments as needed to support departmental staffing
• Operate GE CT Revolution scanner as well as a mix of GE and Siemens X-ray equipment
• Provide patient-centered care across all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
• Maintain a cheerful, team-oriented approach and collaborate effectively with imaging staff

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required
• CT certification (ARRT CT) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray imaging
• Must be able to work independently in both CT and X-ray modalities
• Scrubs required; any color acceptable
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care or hospital-based imaging environment
• Familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-modality imaging department
